The water is collected in water cisterns and is gravity fed. There is no electricity on the property and one must be self-sustainable and the property includes a solar system and few other things.
The 1.7 acre has been fully developed over time with a gravel road driveway adorned with matured coconut palms leading all the way to the cabana on the beach. Majority of the land is covered in grass which can easily be maintained and few other species of flowering plants and fruit trees are around the property. There is a large gate at the entrance providing security and privacy.
This Beach front cabana is situated under 30 miles from Corozal Town and is approximately 13 miles to Sarteneja Village by Road. The paving of the main road from Corozal Town to Sarteneja will commence ending of 2019 as a loan has been granted to the Government of Belize and a contractor has been secured for the project. The paving of the road will bring much anticipated development to the area and prices will commence to increase as soon as the road paving commence. The property will then be less than 4 miles to paved road!
From the main road that will be paid the property has almost an all-weather road for majority of the way on a 4×2 but during rainy season it is recommended to have a 4×4 as there are some muddy spots along some spot of the road to fill and put rocks to have a solid base for crossing. There are two or three homes being built on the beachfront and beach view and this area known as Waree Bight is definitely an up and coming area.v
Another way to get to the property is by boat. One can access the property from Sarteneja which would be the easier and faster route being only 6 miles away by boat or Corozal Town approximately 13 miles.
There is ample of space to build a beachfront home and use the current cabana as rental unit or built more cabanas along the driveway with beach access and operate a beachfront resort/lodge. One may be able to subdivide residential lots and sell with access to the beach! The property has great potential and prices will increase dramatically!
