About the Home

The Ground Floor of the Home

The ground floor of the home conisists of a spacious dining area with panoramic view to the lot as there are large screened windows that provides a panoramic view to the entire lot.

All the windows that face the east have plywood in storage and easy be bolted to the windows for protection during storms.  There is a small pump house at the back of the house.

The Landscape

The owners have been developing this tropical paradise since 2009 and have embraced the nature of what Belize has to offer.

There are numerous trees on the property such as apple bananas, coconut trees, Haitian Apple, Avocado, mandarin and a few more.

Moreover, the entire lot has been planted with beautiful trees and plants adorning every step of the way, welcoming many tropical birds which can be seen year round. 

About Sarteneja

Sarteneja Village is approximately some 40 miles from Corozal Town passing through the Pueblo Viejo Ferry along the New River, through Copper Bank Village and onto Laguna Seca Ferry and driving pass Orchid Bay to Sarteneja.  Orange Walk Town is approximately some 44 miles from Sarteneja Village and all the roads are all-weather road but at times it gets a bit rough.  Driving from Corozal to Sarteneja it takes about an hour but depending on the Ferry traffic.  Driving from Orange Walk Town to Sarteneja passing by Little Belize it takes about an hour and twenty minutes but no ferries.

To note the Government of Belize has now completed the paving of the road from Sartejena Village to Chunox Village as of May 2023.  Additionally, a new bridge is under construction at the Laguna Seca which will connect to the second phase of the paving that will connect to the Pueblo Nuevo Ferry at New River.
