The property is only accessible by boat at this time but there is a 60 foot reserve road at the back of the property but there is no physically built to the property; however, the nearest road access would be at Gales Point is only 10 minutes boat ride.  The road may not connect to any existing road easements as the property is has Southern Lagoon on the West, on the north the river that connects the Southern Lagoon and the Northern Lagoon, on the South is the Manatee River and on the East Caribbean Sea.  To a certain extend the area is like an exclusive island area!

The property can be accessed by boat on two routes:  The first is coming from Belize City or Dangriga Town by boat along the coast line on the Caribbean Sea.  It takes about an hour by boat from Belize City.  The second route is far more interesting coming by boat from Belize City, through the Haulover Creek, through Burdon Canal, over the Sibun River and onto channels and to the Northern Lagoon and finally to Southern Lagoon, the home of Gales Point.  Along these rivers and channels, you can appreciate wildlife such as different species of birds and most common Salt Water Crocodiles.  These rivers and channels leading to the Northern and Southern Lagoon are now being trafficked by Cruise Ship Tourist who enjoys these adventure rides.

The property can be utilized as a private residential retreat or due to the excellent location can be exploited as Resort with Dive Shop Operations with various inland tours and fishing tours and because it is only accessible by boat it is very exclusive!

One can appreciate Manatees in the Southern and Northern Lagoon, and great fishing in the Manatee River.  Also, one can go to the Reef which is approximately 15-17 miles from the property.
